Now Offering American Red Cross and American Heart Association CPR Training
Build the skills and confidence to respond when someone needs help. The NY Fire Safety Institute is pleased to announce two new evening courses in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and AED use:
American Red Cross: BLS, CPR, and AED
American Heart Association: BLS, CPR, and AED
Both courses combine classroom instruction with demonstrations, hands-on practice, and realistic emergency scenarios. Participants learn CPR for adults, children, and infants, how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and how to recognize and respond to cardiac arrest and choking emergencies.
Whether you’re strengthening your workplace safety skills or preparing to help someone at home or in your community, these classes offer an opportunity to practice with instructor guidance. Successful completion requires a written exam and practical skills testing.
Convenient Evening Classes in Midtown Manhattan
Classes meet from 6:30–10:30 p.m. at the NY Fire Safety Institute, located in the New Yorker Hotel, 481 Eighth Avenue, Suite 618, near Penn Station. Each course costs $95 per student, including the book.
