Retired FDNY Assistant Chief Jensen is a Fire & Life Safety Consultant with NY Fire Consultants Inc., a certified instructor at NY Fire Safety Institute (NYFSI), and a co-partner in International Fire & Life Safety Experts LLC (IFLSE).
Accomplishments
- Eight years as Chief in charge of the Bureau of Fire Prevention where Jensen gained extensive experience working with numerous city agencies, especially the Buildings Department, and worked with several highly respected design and engineering firms on many complex projects throughout the city.
- Field experience as Captain, Battalion Chief and Deputy Chief in Midtown Manhattan adds to Jensen’s unique knowledge of fire protection and how to solve complex fire protection issues.
- Recently served as Chair of the Fire Protection Technical Committee for the NYC Building Code Revision and as a member of the Managing Committee for the recent NYC Fire Code Revision.
