Anthony Russo is a Fire Consultant at NY Fire Consultants, specializing in fire code compliance. A Supervising Inspector and member of the High Rise Unit, he served 28 years in the FDNY. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science and is certified by the FDNY to conduct on-site testing for fire safety and emergency action plan director candidates. He also holds FDNY certificates of fitness for standpipe, sprinkler, fire drill conductor, and fire guard. He encourages future fire safety professionals to develop a strong understanding of the NYC Fire Code.
