As a Fire & Life Safety Consultant with NY Fire Consultants Inc., retired FDNY Captain Kruper prepares Fire Safety Plans and Fire Safety / Emergency Action Plans, trains building staff in implementation of these plans, conducts Fire Safety Inspections, and creates Fire Safety Guides for high-rise multiple dwelling clients. Captain Kruper is also a certified instructor at NY Fire Safety Institute (NYFSI).
Accomplishments
During his 21 years with the FDNY, Captain Kruper worked in all five boroughs responding to fires and emergencies in buildings ranging from single family houses in Queens to high-rise buildings in Manhattan.
As an FDNY officer, Kruper supervised fire suppression activities on the company level, designed and structured company drill activities according to the FDNY curriculum, and supervised building inspection activities and enforcement of NYC Fire Prevention laws.
While Captain, Kruper was responsible for Fire Company overall readiness, staffing, training, policy and procedures. Additionally, he assisted in the preparation of the FDNY 2002 Captains promotional examination.
Captain Kruper retired from the FDNY in 2002 and joined NY Fire Consultants to leverage his expertise for our clients.
