As a Fire & Life Safety Consultant with NY Fire Consultants Inc., retired FDNY Lt. Garafola conducts residential fire inspections for many of our clients. Additionally, Lt. Garafola is a certified instructor at NY Fire Safety Institute (NYFSI).
Accomplishments
While with the FDNY, Lt. Garafola was the Building Inspection & Hydrant coordinator at the Company Officer level. He was also involved in the development, teaching and implementing of the new BISP program. This included revising FD manuals, Building Codes and Fire Codes.
