Gregory Damato is an Instructor and Fire & Life Safety Consultant at NY Fire Consultants. He is a Battalion Chief in the FDNY with 22 years of service. Formerly a police officer, he has worked across many NYC neighborhoods. He holds a BA in Criminal Justice and is certified at HAZMAT Level 2. He specializes in fire and building codes and fire safety education. He is a member of the Holy Name Society and enjoys time with family and friends outside work.
