Notice from the FDNY on Exams and Diploma Submissions
Notice from the FDNY:
After September 4, 2017, all candidates who apply to take the Fire Safety Director computer base exam (CBT) or the Emergency Action Plan Director computer base exam will be required to submit the original and a copy of the active shooter/medical emergency preparedness (ASMEP) diploma issued by the FDNY approved schools. In other words, all FSD candidates must submit two school certifications: FSD diploma and the ASMEP diploma to apply the Fire Safety Director CBT exam.
All EAP candidates must hold a Fire Safety Director with Active Shooter (F-85) C of F. The (F- 58/F-25 will not be recognized after September 4, 2017). Candidates must submit two school certifications: EAPD diploma and the ASMEP diploma to apply the EAPD CBT exam.
Any person working after September 3rd as a Fire Safety Director or an Emergency Action Plan Director without taken the active shooter/medical emergency preparedness course could receive a summons
