F-89 FDNY Non-Fire Practice Test – Emergency Action Plan Exam Prep

The F-89 FDNY Fire and Life Safety Director (FLSD) Certificate of Fitness exam includes a required Non-Fire Emergency Action Plan (EAP) component. This section tests your knowledge of emergency procedures other than fire, including medical incidents, chemical spills, active shooter situations, bomb threats, shelter-in-place, partial evacuations, and other building safety protocols.

This FDNY Non-Fire Practice Test is designed to help you prepare for that portion of the exam. The practice questions are modeled after the official Non-Fire component, giving you a chance to review key concepts, strengthen your understanding of emergency action planning, and build confidence before test day.

Step 1 of 28

Who is responsible to report to the Fire Command Station in the absence of a FLSD or Deputy FLSD in an office building after normal business hours?
